Vermont medical cannabis patients have faced a real shortage of options over the past year. When the state's largest medical marijuana brand, Ceres Med, closed its doors over a year ago,¹ patients across Vermont were left searching for reliable access to high-potency medical cannabis products. We heard you, and we got to work.
We're proud to announce that Sunset Lake Cannabis has launched a new line of medical cannabis products, available now at licensed medical marijuana dispensaries across Vermont, including our own South Hero shop, Lake Effect Vermont.

All of our new medical weed products are grown right here on our South Hero farm and made with full-spectrum extract from our Sun + Earth Certified sungrown plants. They're third-party lab tested for potency and purity, and formulated to be vegan-friendly. No shortcuts, no mystery ingredients.

Medical Blend THC Oil Tincture: Our highest-potency tincture, with 3,000mg THC (50mg per serving) in a 2oz bottle. Made with just two ingredients: full-spectrum cannabis extract and organic coconut MCT oil. A clean, straightforward option for patients looking for reliable dosing.
Medical Bedtime Blend THC Oil Tincture: A rest-focused formula with 3,000mg THC, 1,500mg CBD, and 1,500mg CBN per 2oz bottle (50mg THC + 25mg CBD + 25mg CBN per serving), finished with a touch of natural mint flavoring.
Medical Sativa Gummies: Tangerine-flavored gummies with 50mg THC each, made with a field blend of sungrown Sativa cultivars. Each jar contains 20 gummies.
Medical Indica Gummies: Strawberry-flavored gummies with a full-spectrum cannabinoid profile designed for relaxation: 50mg THC, 25mg CBD, and 25mg CBN per gummy. 20 gummies per jar.
Who Can Buy Medical Marijuana in Vermont?
These products are only available to people registered in Vermont's Medical Cannabis Program. If you have a Vermont medical marijuana card, you can purchase medical pot tax-free, which means no cannabis excise tax and no sales tax, saving you 20-21% compared to adult-use shoppers. Registered patients and caregivers can also buy up to two ounces of flower at a time.²
